The hoof is always on the search for new music, he utilises modern tech, but he let’s the algorithms work for him, but he’s also a stubborn old stallion and likes to do things the old fashioned way, so it’s back to basics, searching through magazines, blogs and websites, like Le Visiteur, Monkeyboxing, Music is my Sanctuary, Test Pressing, Five Mag, Faith, 45 Live, The Vinyl Factory, Wax Poetics and many many more.
I’m sure the 100’s if not 1000’s of songs I’ve missed and I could continue to search for what was hot in 2024, but its time to move on, as the search for 2025 tunes begins.
I don’t normally pick one particular song as a favourite for the year, but I watched this video so many times in 2024, I guess you could say its my favourite and if you are going to listen to just one song from my selections, make it this.
