Sometimes, less is everything. This page is dedicated to the tracks that get straight to the point—no filler, no long intros, just pure impact. From 60-second lo-fi beats to frantic punk anthems.
Here’s what our community’s picks for songs under two minutes!
Jenna Writes:
These tracks leave me wishing they were longer. They’re so good that they get stuck on repeat. I started with Elevator by Lizzie McAlpine, which I first heard on one of my favorite shows. The song made the moment unforgettable, and I added it to my own Spotify immediately. Every time I listen, I’m brought right back to that feeling. Another favorite is Please Notice by Christian. I’ve been listening to him for a long time, and this track always hits me. I end up rewinding it over and over, wishing it didn’t end so soon. Misses by Dominic Fike, is a newer one, super catchy, and again, way too short. Marlboro nights also fit perfectly here. Overall, these songs accomplish so much in such a short amount of time, proving that a lot can be said in just under two minutes.
Andie Writes:
Honestly, there’s something special about these three tracks because I didn’t find them myself…they’re the “hand-me-down” gems from the collaborative playlists I’ve been building with the community! Whether it’s the grit in Jacob Banks’ voice, that psychedelic track by Knxwledge, or Suff Daddy’s smooth, jazzy, and R&B vibe, they all have that “if you know, you know” energy and its crazy to me because I feel like these tracks deserve to be longer, but on the other hand, why mess with what’s great already?
Ben Writes:
My favorite song on one of my least favorite Jay-Z albums (that honor goes to Blueprint 2) happens to also be Jay-Z’s shortest song. Just like a beach vacation, the beat drop hits you like an ocean wave, you’re in a state of bliss, and just as you start to think “I could live here,” the song/vacay is over.
