Ree8006 is a multi-talented artist, music producer and songwriter from Detroit, MI. Ree8006 is a genre-blurring artist, producer and songwriter whose music seamlessly fuses chill lo-fi, chill hop, lo-fi, R&B, hip hop and dance elements. With a passion for music ignited from an early age, she released her debut instrumental album "Reflections of Innerself" in 2018, showcasing her knack for soulful, downtempo compositions.
Since then, Ree8006 has collaborated with numerous artists while releasing her own projects like the meditative "Ellaments Of Life" in 2022. Her breakout year was 2023, unleashing over 10 singles and earning 3 nominations at the HRVDR Awards.
What sets Ree8006 apart is her ability to capture raw emotion through hypnotic, groove-laden production. Drawing from eclectic influences, her music explores deeply personal themes through a rich tapestry of sound. Andie constantly thinks of music as an escape to a whole other place. It also brings out this different side of her that only music can. Like, you ever have a bad day, but when you listen to this particular song or shuffle this certain playlist, everything seems better? Yeah, that's pretty much how it makes her feel too. And for her, music has to be playing everywhere– as in everywhere. It's like she has a soundtrack for anything. She can't stop writing or talking about it. It's something she can talk about with you for hours and hours. Music helps her get lost but in the best way possible.
