About this Playlist
You always need a good playlist on shuffle – at the background of anything you do. It just levels up the entire experience. And in that one cold night, I just decided to make this one.
I was just thinking of all these meaningful experiences and how they make a person feel. And as cheesy at it sounds, it led me to the feeling of love. But that’s really the most powerful thing ever because it has the energy to move you to other happy feelings and you get so caught up with it. Because imagine, you’re slow dancing with someone, and that’s all you both have ever wanted, just each other’s company and silence. But thinking about adding music to the background? It’s like that perfect addition of “silence” that makes the whole slow dancing experience more loving and special. The mellow tone of “To Love Somebody,” paired with the slow guitar of “Wonderful Tonight,” makes the 2am feeling extraordinary.
And my other inspiration for this playlist: the lyrics. They all have different genres and mixes, but they all connect through the meaning of the lyrics. They all have the same motive. And I think that’s what’s so beautiful about music too. It can sound so loud, soft, or filled with energy, but the lyrics are about the simplest things in the world. It makes me so intrigued to think about, and that’s why It’s impossible to run out of ideas when making playlists too. It’s all about the simple things– real life experiences that you share with one another.
