About this Playlist
It’s so great how a single track can motivate you to make an entire playlist! “This Thing We Got” by The Kite String Tangle was by far the best inspiration for a playlist I got. It was just so funky and upbeat and you really can’t help but nod your head while listening to it on loop. For me, while I was creating this playlist, I thought to myself, “Hey, I need to give off more good vibes and catchy tracks that make people dance,” And if you’re listening to this, I hope I was really able to go for that! It’s also crazy because I discovered so many new artists while creating this! Do you ever get that realization? One of the reasons why I love making playlists– it surprises me too!
Sycco, The Jungle Giants, Holy Holy, and Matt Corby will be artists that I’ll be on the lookout for, for sure. All the tracks here are just so addicting, like, what do the artists put in them that makes their songs impossible to get tired of? They all have that perfect balance of wavy, electric, funky beats, and not to mention, those catchy drops.
Immediately, I had to name this “Funky Electro” because even if some may not classify it that way, it’s what each of the tracks make me feel and I think it’s so great to have that connection or “genre” you make yourself because who knows, it might just be that go-to playlist for someone who thinks the same! So give this a listen and vibe awayyyy!
