About this Playlist
For that extra breather, while taking a break in the balcony….believe me, this playlist is tried and tested!
It’s a whole mix of indie, subtle rock, kinda psychedelic tunes, light tones, acoustic, and groovy moods! And really, I just thought of this playlist while doing some work in my balcony and I thought to myself, “Why do I not have a playlist for this situation yet?!” For some reason, Second Hand Car by Kim Churchill popped in my head first, all because of the head-bopping thing that I do every time I listen to it. After that, I thought I’d need to add a track that just flows smoothly like it gives off some kind of slow/beach vibes, and I got taken back to Damage Done by Kita Alexander! Then after that, I wanted slow tones, but it’s still catchy, and I added the track by Big Scary.
I always think of sitting in the balcony as going out, but not really going out (if that makes sense?) Because sometimes, you just want to change your scenery, but at the same time you don’t feel like taking a drive, so the balcony is the perfect balance to that. It was such a journey making this playlist because I thought of such different genres, but they all fit perfectly to the theme I was aiming for. Hopefully, it gets you in that certain mood, the same way it did to me, or of course, if you just wanna sit down on a sunny day and listen to some tracks or of course…daydream.
