For February’s Listening Parties, we leaned into a theme that’s everywhere this time of year: love.
Not just romantic love. Not just Valentine’s Day love. But love in all its forms. Because love isn’t one feeling. It’s a whole spectrum.
This month, Andie and Jenna hosted two listening parties, each featuring five tracks sent in by artists from our community. Ten songs total, all orbiting the same theme, but arriving there in completely different ways. We’ve combined them into one awesome playlist for you to love on.
Jenna Writes:
While going through track submissions for the theme of love, there were so many incredible songs sent to us. It was hard to narrow it down, but I was honestly blown away by all of these tracks. Starting off with Frans, from the very first riff and those trumpets, I literally had goosebumps and the biggest smile on my face.
Another track that stood out to me immediately was the title alone of “I Think My Girl Made Me a Zombie” and “January Feels Like June” is such a sweet sentiment. Lukka with a stunning vocal performance, and Brianna’s iconic list of reference artists totally made sense, because the song was full of attitude. It’s definitely a Valentine’s Day anthem, and I am absolutely here for it. 💖
You can truly feel the love from every artist, the soul and heart they poured into their work. It’s not just the vocals or the instruments, but the lyrics too.

After listening to Love Playlist Part 1 by Jenna and eventually finishing Part 2, which I curated, I was amazed by how different all the songs sounded. The genres and styles varied so much, yet everything still leaned toward the same feeling: love.
I especially loved how many of the tracks felt familiar, like artists I’d normally listen to, while still carrying each artist’s own personality and uniqueness. That personal touch is what made them stand out.
I think that’s also what makes these listening parties so special. You can feel the inspiration artists draw from their own music idols, and in the end, you’re left genuinely surprised by how good everything is. These artists deserve way more listeners.
