About this Playlist
All kinds of music can be listened to with our full focus, where there’s nothing but us and that piece of music existing in the present moment – those sweet sounds reverberating round our bodies. But what if we don’t want to escape and get lost in the music and instead allow the music to bring us closer to our breath, sensations in the body, to our thoughts and feelings?
This ambient collection aims to create an atmosphere of calm, where the waves of our busy lives and minds can become still. These pieces can be calming in themselves or they can be the background to practising mindfulness of sounds or the accompaniment to other meditation practices.
