Imagine life as a cat. Full of never-ending relaxing, sun-bathed afternoons, and a layer of coziness that is perfection – at its finest.
Slide into the radiant sunlight as Maria and Kelch bring a day in the life of a cat to you.
Feathered with harmonious tendencies, each track offers a perspective. Picture cats in the morning, mid-afternoon, and even as the sun starts to set. From nap time to dinner time, the life of a cat is – in essence – brilliant.
The sulky guitar licks of Moon Taxi’s “Savannah” to the delicate structure of “Paint the Rain” by Natalie Bergman bring this playlist to a culmination of moods. All experienced by a cat. Whether it’s every day or every other.
Relinquish the day’s duties and act like a cat. Soaking up the sun and all of its glory as the days hinders on and the music sums it all up.
Are you the sun rising or falling
Does the light that you find in the morning
Enter the day with the warmth of honey
Does the light you find in the evening
Leave the day with the color of August leaves in their falling
Can you gather the warmth and the color
Let it join the candlelight on the altar
Are you the rising and falling of the cats breath
As they dream in the sun soaked grass
Can you find peace in the light that they follow,
The warmth that they hold and be the love that they borrow
Will you share it like they do when it is needed most of all

About the Curators
Kelch finds himself constantly involved with audio whether it be for work, pleasure, or just because…Kelch is a true audio-fanatic. Spending his days into the radio booths of talk and music stations then coming home to enter into his private booth for podcasting; Kelch is entangled with audio each and every day.
Music has been a staple for the long-haired, Hawaiian shirt-wearing fellow who has been obsessed with artists such as Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, and Norah Jones since a young age.
Kelch's influences range from the beginning of Indie Rock in the depths of Britain to pure Americana and then some. Expect playlists full of spontaneity, mood shifts, and genreless intentions.
