Amy Winehouse would have been 34 years old this year… a life cut way too short. I will admit that when she was alive, I didn’t pay much attention to her music. I know… that’s a tragedy in itself, but why not? Through the media, all I heard about her was that she was a drug addict singing about not wanting to go to rehab. That seemed ridiculous to me at the time, so I missed out on some soulful and powerful music… but not for long!
