This playlist really shows the beauty of what you can create with no set theme or plan. Following the beat of our hearts, we picked songs that created a whole vibe. We started with one track and realized, “Hey, let’s get more that match its vibe,” or “Wow, her vocals are so unique, let’s see who else sounds like that” or even “I just remembered how good this is, so I added it here,” We didn’t know what we would find in the beginning but ended with a melody of songs that scream “damn, that’s good” (playing with a certain playlist name lol)– and then we came up with this absolutely awesome mix. It’s something that we want to play again and again. Plus, even on shuffle, the vibe still be a jam

Sky Diamond
My name's Sky Diamond and I love music as I'm sure you'll find any curator say. I find a lot of joy creating beats and curating songs that create something greater than the sum of its parts. My style of conception is finding a few songs and looking for the overlapping sounds in each to create a cohesive idea. You'll find me swimming in the genres: R&B, Pop, Indie Rock/Pop, EDM. And, these are my favorites to work with, but I'll dabble in any genre and always down to hear a new song.
My particular style comes from a belief system that I'm a spiritual soul having a human experience. I believe we're all here to play and have fun. And, music is something that speaks to my soul as an expression of all the unique ways each of us see the world. We could all have the same beats to create with and somehow we produce something entirely unique. I'm here to be a reminder to play with the resources we have and to step outside the norm.

Andie constantly thinks of music as an escape to a whole other place. It also brings out this different side of her that only music can. Like, you ever have a bad day, but when you listen to this particular song or shuffle this certain playlist, everything seems better? Yeah, that's pretty much how it makes her feel too. And for her, music has to be playing everywhere– as in everywhere. It's like she has a soundtrack for anything. She can't stop writing or talking about it. It's something she can talk about with you for hours and hours. Music helps her get lost but in the best way possible.
