For most people, falling asleep is pretty straightforward – however sometimes, and for some people, falling asleep can be a nightmare ;-p. When we looked at some of the bigger sleep playlists they all seemed rather long – hours and hours of music – which is a bit odd really as, well you’d hope that if you find a list that works for you – you probably don’t get to listen to it all ;-p
So rather than produce a long list – we asked some curators to come up with sets of three tracks that made sense together. The thinking here is there’s six different vibes in the list so you might find one that works for you – and even if you listen to it all – it’s pretty damsn calming anyway so – there could be worse things to stay up listening to.
A few curators gave context which you can read below but ultimately this is for those looking for something to send them off to dreamland – where hopefully – they won’t experience that nightmare.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how I used to always have something playing when I went to sleep. Back when I was a student, my rhythm was completely different. These days, I imagine I’d be out by the first track!
I’ve chosen two of my all-time favorites and one recent addition.
I love thinking about how this trio of songs might interact with my sleep stages. “Overand” feels like both a gatekeeper and Charon: it leaves the day’s turbulence behind at the entrance. On the other side, it transports me into Light Sleep, funneling my mind and spirit into a darker, emptier, deeper state.
When “Translation” begins, I enter Deep Sleep. I picture myself moving through concentric (bio)spheres, each one brimming with more inner energy. The track’s flow reminds me of this circular journey. Eventually, I reach the REM stage, where all the circles resolve. “Evening Star” opens up to Vivid Dreaming: a wide, open space where serenity is the key to experiencing the best dreams.

I have added something called Solfeggio Frequencies. Basically they are specific tones that help with and promote various aspects of body and mind health. These frequencies are reputed to date back to ancient history and said to be the fundamental sounds used in both Western Christianity and Eastern Indian religions, chanted by the Gregorian Monks and in ancient Indian Sanskrit chants..
They really help me when I am having issues sleeping, and I always wake up feeling refreshed. I chose the 432Hz Healing Sleep Music., 174Hz Healing Tone for Sleep, and I think when your tense and full of anxiety having a clear mind will help you sleep so the 528Hz Reducing Tension- Anxiety I added lastly. I also want to point out the tones are mixed with music so your not just listening to tone. Hope you all enjoy!

I’m starting with a couple of Robot Koch tracks and one from our very own Peter Salueda. Circle 29 is one of my absolute favorite tracks to wind down to – there’s something hypnotic about the flow of the track and listening to it feels like a gentle hug – it’s so subtly done that I can almost drift away in that first three minutes. Next up is Peter Salueda’ s The Golden Hour – more of a synthy feel to my ears – less hypnotic and more enveloping and – like a warm blanket just wrapping itself around your ears – towards the end I feel as though I’m falling into the dark embrace. Finishing with a stand alone Robot Koch track – appropriately titled Sleep 😉 There’s nothing I don’t love about this track – it kinda blends the above two – has that cyclical movement to it but retains the warmth of The Golden Hour – plus it has that long fade out – that – if I’m choosing this as a three track sleep aid – by the time the silence comes – I should be in a different world.
