About this Playlist
When’s the best time to make a playlist? Is it when you hear that one song that inspires you? Or when you’ve been feeling some type of mood? Well, yeah, those are some of the best times, but I also make playlists after something great happens to me- like something I want to remember forever. And this “Sitting in the parking lot” is one of them.
The night I made this playlist, I literally just compiled a bunch of tracks that gave the definition of how that night went. It was an amazing feeling because I didn’t even have to write or say anything about it. All I had to do was add songs to a list. And again, as I’m typing this, it’s amazing how music has that much power to convey a message or narrate an entire story, don’t you think? And like I always say, everything you do needs music playing in the background. Every time I shuffle this playlist, it immediately takes me back- and I love it.
The very first track “Something Changed,” actually gave off the whole story in an amazing way. I actually haven’t listened to it in a long time, but the moment I found it again, wow, I couldn’t stop listening to it for days and little did I know It’d match up to my situation. Amazing feeling, right?
I hope, that when you listen to this playlist, it takes you back as well. I find it impossible that music or a single song can’t relate to someone. There’s always that certain connection music has and sometimes, all you really gotta do is listen to a song and you’ll realize it.
