The thoughts you might randomly get overnight might not be the best for some people, considering that a lot of times someone suffers from insomnia means that there’s something deeper and darker going on. We ought to identify bad thoughts from the outside, try to figure out the origin, and calm the fuck down; you’re only damaging yourself and as far as I know using precious time and thought on something no other than putrid.
We may wake up after only 20-40 minutes of falling asleep and get annoyed by the fact that we won’t be able to sleep as fast as we could and there’s a chance that’ll bring some bad thoughts to our mind, even make us a bit angry or just further annoyed enough to feel that sharp feeling in our chests.
As an experienced putrid thinker of the night I can only suggest one thing: Breathe, take deep breaths and so whatever it is that you do to take your mind somewhere else. If you’ve never really taken your mind somewhere else just try focusing on one thing and loop it; maybe the beach, clouds, a candle, drink a glass of cold water, good memories, just don’t dig too deep either because at that point if you’re not fully awake your mind also tends to end in the rabbit hole. For now focus on breathing and try to remember the good things of life.
