This week's track is from a rising R&B artist, the criminally underrated, James Bambu. "Love Nest" is a serene neo-soul track that accurately depicts the honeymoon stage of a relationship. Even the production carries a very natural and paradisiacal atmosphere; if the honeymoon phase had a sound, then this is it. The sweet guitar progression layered over the subtle bass guitar and 808 kicks sound absolutely amazing.
Additionally, James delivers a smooth and soulful vocal performance that is magic to the ears. While this track carries a sensual theme, the rich and radiant instrumental matches the vibe of an outdoor picnic with or without a significant other. Overall, this is a great song to play while relaxing and soaking up some sun.
