Currently, I’d have to say starting my small business. I’ve been wanting to start this business for years and this year, I finally gathered the courage to do so. A lot of things scared me – what If people won’t buy my products? what if my social media accounts won’t get a good following? what if I mess up orders? what if there are bad comments about my products? what if I ruin a recipe? – the list goes oooooon haha But that didn’t stop me. I felt that I was in a better place compared to before to be able to start my passion and because of that strong feeling, I just went for it! I R&D-ed recipes for weeks on weeks, created a facebook and instagram account, did shoots, did the editing, did the competitor research, you name it. I’m a one woman team and honestly, I just felt that push each day I’d work on something; and because of that, it didn’t seem as scary anymore. Since I’m soooo hands on with everything, I thought to myself, “hey, I really have nothing to be afraid of…I’m doing the work and going at my own pace, it’s all gonna be fine, and if it doesn’t work out, I’ll find a way and it’s still gonna be fine”
There were so many realizations already coming into my second month of the existence of this business and my fears have lessened. They’re obviously still there, I know I can never get rid of it, but the thing is, it’s now not as scary as it used to be and that just lifts this huge weight off my shoulders.
And just because I’m so proud of myself and I’m loving the different ways I’m surprising myself, It’d mean a lot if you guys could check out the instagram: @fresh.out.theoven
there are a lot of things I have planned, all sprouting from crazy dreams – the crazier the better! I can’t wait to let the fears go little by little :))

as scary as it first seemed?” Check out the playlist: Songs That Make Life Seem Less Scary Learn more about The Human Collective here.
About the Curators
Andie De Guzman
Andie constantly thinks of music as an escape to a whole other place. It also brings out this different side of her that only music can. Like, you ever have a bad day, but when you listen to this particular song or shuffle this certain playlist, everything seems better? Yeah, that's pretty much how it makes her feel too. And for her, music has to be playing everywhere– as in everywhere. It's like she has a soundtrack for anything. She can't stop writing or talking about it. It's something she can talk about with you for hours and hours. Music helps her get lost but in the best way possible.
