Oh God, actually it was not long ago, and the smile just went across my face. Since I’ve been working with the – Canadian Cannabis tourism Association, CCTA, I’ve made a lot of contacts around the globe — and 90% of the people I’ve met are growers. I started to add it up in my head and went, “Hey, wait a minute… these people grow cannabis. I’m never going to have to buy weed for the rest of my life. They’re going to send me samples!”
I’ve already been asked to be a judge in one of the regional Canada Cups for cannabis, and I saw the judging kits you get — I just started laughing and smiling.
People always say their favorite period of life was high school — screw that, man. My favorite period of life is now. Being a senior citizen and coming into your own stash of meds that are actually complimentary? That’s like hitting the lottery.
The perks that come with the consultancy and doing the social media for sustainable tourism are wonderful. I’m so pleased — and that made me smile and laugh on the inside. I went, “Yeah, this is cool.”
