I’d say just the idea that I don’t know what can happen next. It can always be good, and can also be bad, but what keeps me going and hopeful is that I need to find out. Especially because I put in so much effort each day with a lot of different things to the point that I wanna see where my efforts take me. I gotta say, it also made me more patient. It made me realize like, “Hey, things take time…but just wait, everything is gonna be worth it, just stay hopeful and good things will come because I’m doing my best to make them happen” Of course, it’s not always easy, what’s more when you get hit with numerous obstacles and road bumps. It hurts my hopeful spirit and I do lose it most times, but I guess that’s normal. What’s important is that I make it a point to go back to that hopefulness, even if it takes me some time.

About the Curators
Andie De Guzman
Andie constantly thinks of music as an escape to a whole other place. It also brings out this different side of her that only music can. Like, you ever have a bad day, but when you listen to this particular song or shuffle this certain playlist, everything seems better? Yeah, that's pretty much how it makes her feel too. And for her, music has to be playing everywhere– as in everywhere. It's like she has a soundtrack for anything. She can't stop writing or talking about it. It's something she can talk about with you for hours and hours. Music helps her get lost but in the best way possible.
