About this Playlist
I’m having this moment where I’m just listening to Hip-Hop tracks. I feel like it’s making me focus more, if that makes sense, like when I’m driving or working. But the one thing I noticed with every track I found or listened to was it always made me say the same thing, “damn, that’s good,” (and I mean really good) and I end up turning up the volume. So I thought, why not make a playlist out of them. It’s pretty much the same feeling with my funky electro playlist, but it’s all Rap this time. You get this catchy beat, with lyrics that flow so well, plus most of them have that jazzy-tone/wavy-drop type of feature. And what’s gonna get you the most are the samples that some tracks use (can’t tell you how long it’ll take me to get over them)– you’ll melt.
Andie constantly thinks of music as an escape to a whole other place. It also brings out this different side of her that only music can. Like, you ever have a bad day, but when you listen to this particular song or shuffle this certain playlist, everything seems better? Yeah, that's pretty much how it makes her feel too. And for her, music has to be playing everywhere– as in everywhere. It's like she has a soundtrack for anything. She can't stop writing or talking about it. It's something she can talk about with you for hours and hours. Music helps her get lost but in the best way possible.
