About this Playlist
Because I’m just sooo into 80’s and New Wave music in general, I ended up thinking about how the Halloween parties were during that time. Pretty sure it can’t compare to the ones we have now, but I can picture it – groups of friends dressing up as characters from Ghostbusters or Star Wars, couples as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, and maybe even duos as Beetlejuice and Lydia. Tons of house parties, families going trick or treating, and the best part…the music. There’s something about the energy of New Wave that also brings that “late at night” and spooky feeling, especially when you bring in bands like Siouxsie and The Banshees, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Cure. Making this playlist definitely made me picture an 80s Halloween party and I would kiiiill (psycho killer, qu’est-ce que c’est?) to be there!
