For our very first Listening Party, we invited the community to dive into one of the most universal emotions, which is Fear. From the rush of a Halloween night to the quiet tension of facing the unknown, these five tracks capture what it means to be afraid, to confront it, and to come out stronger on the other side.
Each song was sent to us by artists from around the world and experienced together during our Listening Party on November 5th. We listened, chatted, and shared what it made us feel: moments of unease, awe, courage, and even comfort.
Because that’s what fear does. It shakes us, but it also connects us.

Monsters On The Marquee by Knocking on the Sky:
A campy, cinematic synthpop track that turns drive-in horror into a neon celebration. Monsters on the Marquee fuses vintage sci-fi flair with modern pop energy – all playful theremins, crackling radio intros, and gleeful nostalgia. It’s equal parts fun and cinematic, the perfect soundtrack for late-night retro escapism.

New Fear by Corporate Jacket:
This track is essentially about facing one’s fears head on and not letting the narrative intensify ones own anxieties.

Face My Fears by Drax Africa:
“Face My Fears” is an emotional EDM anthem about resilience and the fight to rise above fear. With soaring synths, cinematic builds, and a heartfelt vocal performance, the song blends energy and vulnerability into one uplifting experience. Inspired by real personal struggles, it speaks to anyone who’s had to push through doubt and darkness to chase their light.

FEARS MY FEARS by Ary-Marc Monval:
This song is going to be a part of an EP called “GUITAR LOOPS ARE DOPE.” I produced tracks around loops that I thought were interesting, and this is one of the songs that came out of this process.

Fear by Sevan Shahmirian:
When you face a problem in life and let a bit of doubt and fear creep in, it becomes extremely difficult to get rid of that fear. It stays and manifests itself in different ways. What would you do in this situation? Listen to “FEAR” and see how much you resonate with Sevan. This track is the final piece from his second album that has been released.

We absolutely loved every track from these talented artists. This made us realize that there’s one collective topic, but the way each artist chooses to talk about it through song is just so unique, it’s powerful. Fear has a lot of layers to it, but one thing’s for sure, it all boils down to how we face it, in whatever way we can, one day at a time.
