This track by Honeywater gives me a different meaning every time I listen to it. Every lyric applies to a certain situation you might be facing, whether it’d be about love, relationships, faith, it’s like the entire track has numerous stories to tell.
I always say that it’ll be pretty cool to make a movie based on this song.
Southern Wild by Honeywater is actually from their very first EP way back in 2015. They only have a total of two albums. Their second one, Wonder, is also, in my opinion, a beautiful masterpiece.
The connection that the two lead singers have was really brought out through song.
But this particular one, I just had to include on the playlist because it starts off all subtle and smooth, but then it rises up and even the guitar gets heavier and louder– perfect to sit down or gaze at the sky while listening to.
And what I always adore about this song is that certain people come to mind each time I give it a listen. It’s a delightful feeling, really and I can’t explain it anymore…you just have to go give it a listen!
