Beauty hides inside every human being's voice, singing is one of the purest expressions of the human soul, even if some can't truly let all that darkens their light stay out of the way of their voices.
The voice is such a pure mirror of the soul, similar to the eyes in how much it can reveal about the person's contact to their true essence.
A little spark of creative energy lies in our throats, allowing us to conjure life and meaning to this dimension every once in a while.
But life needs life, and this big filter of life that lies in our necks requires the purest light of our inner truths to keep sparking, keep its little essence flowing and create all the beauty it can create.
Sometimes lies overshadow our light, we become so afraid of the truth because it pains us, it faces us with what isn't ourselves, what we haven't really felt, and we deny ourselves of saying this truth because we're afraid to accept the depth of implications to our life and everyone else's, sometimes truth isn't easy, isn't comfortable, sometimes truth makes us scared to open our eyes and accept all the pain that implicates letting go of everything that isn't honoring who we are.
But compassion should be our fuel and our guiding light, compassion should let us understand that we're learning, that we shouldn't demand ourselves to be perfect, we don't need to be perfect, we just need to love ourselves a little more each day, just a little more, that is enough to meet our true selves. Be patient and try to love yourself and one day your truth will emerge beautifully and naturally in a way that will change this world forever.
This song is a small example of the beauty of letting your voice emerge, we don't live in a culture where many voices can portray the beauty of the soul, but some really can, and can ignite our drive to show our inner truth a little more, it's beautiful that the sound and the lyrics, which are both driven by this inner quest for truth can actually bring this out.
We should sing a lot more, and dance, as a society, but we're afraid. Maybe someday we will. Until then, let's just keep listening to beautiful music.
