Music to Save a Lost Soul is thrilled to add Bond Villain to the playlist this week.  “Let Me Go” was submitted via our landing page and it was a sonic delight that felt like finding buried treasure!  This tune is reminiscent of the mellow style from Panic! At the Disco’s “Death of a Bachelor” album, and some of the a capella operatic stylings of Queen and Freddie Mercury… definitely made for this list.

Those chance encounters where two people just happen to be in the same place. They hit it off and end up going the distance. Almost never sober, but that’s what makes it special. Two people giving in to their primal instincts, forgetting about outside opinions and skipping the filler.

Recordings of Billie Holiday singing Duke Ellington songs are almost too much musical pleasure to bear. This one falls into that large category of songs that are maybe too depressing for lullabies if you think about the lyrics too hard, but the melody is so perfect, so why ruin a good thing?..
