Sometimes to fully heal your mind from a particular memory you need to further hurt yourself with certain experiences; this definitely does not apply to everybody, but many of us have a hard time letting go and sometimes the only way to let go is by forcefully breaking or cutting the link that’s constantly sending emotions or thoughts into your mind.
Bad experiences are not usually what we like, or deserve, yet they help us learn, grow and prepare.
