When was the last time you felt alone?, truly alone. Do you remember?
It hits different depending on your background and social traditions/customs, it can be as frustrating as it can be bittersweet but you’re the one who’s in charge of assimilating the emptiness.
It’s not necessarily bad to feel that way unless it’s become your lifestyle because we’re social creatures and our minds deteriorate at a faster rate if we don’t appropriately coexist in a social/friendly way with other creatures, especially our own. Have in mind that if you’re in a rock bottom situation related to loneliness you’ve been possibly developing mental health issues (at your given rate) and it’s completely fixable. But I’m talking about extreme situations here.
It’s never too late to get out of the cycle, even if you’re not the most sociable person there are other people like you out there but be wary because it’ll take time. Thankfully there’s even the “technology” to make friends (somewhat).
Loneliness can be dangerous in the long run.
