Fascination can take many forms. Sometimes it’s a song you can’t stop playing, a lyric that lingers in your head, or a melody that makes you feel something new. Other times, it’s not about music at all. Something I’ve been fascinated with is the phenomenon of Synesthesia. It’s probably the psych major in me, but the first time I learned that people can hear colors or see numbers as prints has absolutely captivated me. I’ve always sensed a deeper connection to it. I’ve explored playlists with members of this community. I explored the Sounds of Red, and the Twilight of Orange. Here and there I like to research and read all I can about this. Even popular artists like FINNEAS, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, and Pharrelll Williams experience this. I’m hoping to make a playlist for each color soon!
