Memories are a crazy thing. It’s like one minute it’s all happening so fast and next thing you know it’s been 7 months. But it still feels like it was just yesterday. You can still see it so clearly. Your heart still races. And find yourself smiling at nothing and everything. You could have never realized in that moment how much it was going to mean to you. Now you can’t move on without something reminding you of it.

To this day I remember the way the light hit his eyes and the shape of his lips. The feeling I had when I looked at him, is something to this day I could never describe. This memory finds its way into my mind at the strangest time, but I’m happy I can relive it. Even if only in my thoughts.

About the Curator - Ashlee Villasenor

 Ashlee Villasenor

Ashlee Villasenor is a senior at Austin College who watches too much Netflix and listens to her music a bit too loud. Her passion for music stems from a childhood full of sleeping on chairs at concerts to singing at the top of her lungs with her dad in the car to every new album he bought her. She's a Tumblr obsessed vegetarian, an animal-lover, a "let's share our feelings through music" kind of girl, who you will never catch without her journal and her pen in hand.
