From Liverpool we will go a bit more to the north (like Game of Thrones), The Fratellis from Glasgow are delighting us with their song and that broken voice singing those lyrics.
This guys have a great hit called Chelsea Dagger. They split in 2009 and everybody thought that was the end of the band by seen Jon Fratelli with Codeine Velvet Club and then a great solo album. But in 2013, they came back with a new image, grown up lyrics, the same amazing style with some improvements and the last album showed that their capacity of making excellent songs.
The original Creepin’ Up The Backstairs is a really fast and powerful song, but there’s an acoustic version brings the best of the essence of the fratellis: the simplicity of the stupendous arrangements and Jon Fratelli’s broken voice.
After The Beatles, this is the band that changed my life. Not too many solos, astonishing rhythms, broken voice and a spice of british rock. For me is the perfect mix of what I love to hear from the modern world.
Ladies and gentleman I’m so happy to present you The Fratellis playing Creepin’ Up The Backstairs.

About the curator - Rodrigo Medrano
At a very early age, music had an incredible impact on Rodrigo’s life. He was never able to listen to lullaby songs; instead he was served Guns n’ Roses and Aerosmith for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At the age of 12, he became a melomaniac, collecting albums, EP’s, recording sessions, and researching every kind of genre. All this helped him to get his first job at a recording studio where he realized his life would forever revolve around sound and music.
Working on cruise ships as First Audio Technician allowed him to let loose his passion and expand his knowledge on psychoacoustics, eventually promoted up to being in charge of sound for the hit broadway shows: Rock of Ages and Burn The Floor.
His music library will never stop growing as his melomania will get worse and worse.
