We are staying in the UK but now going back to the north. This time is Sheffield, the home of Arctic Monkeys!
Even if this song is part of the last album, this guys have an enormous career with a brilliant evolution of their sound. Beginning like a British version of the strokes (also Alex turner was using an Olympic white fender but his was Mexican), Arctic Monkeys made their first steps carrying the flag of Yorkshire indie rock music. Their first 2 albums were full of energy, full of great lyrics and more energy.
The last 3 album they have shown a new face of their talent. Lyrics got more mature, arrangements more produced and of course hairstyles changed a lot too!
Knee Socks can bring a mix of all their career. Guitars sound like the first albums, drums like the last 3. Amazing lyrics but with a classic rhythm from their beginnings. It's nice to hear back that reel echo on alex’s guitar or seeing he's using his fender bronco in arabella.
They are recording a new album at the moment so great new stuff is coming!

About the curator - Rodrigo Medrano
At a very early age, music had an incredible impact on Rodrigo’s life. He was never able to listen to lullaby songs; instead he was served Guns n’ Roses and Aerosmith for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At the age of 12, he became a melomaniac, collecting albums, EP’s, recording sessions, and researching every kind of genre. All this helped him to get his first job at a recording studio where he realized his life would forever revolve around sound and music.
Working on cruise ships as First Audio Technician allowed him to let loose his passion and expand his knowledge on psychoacoustics, eventually promoted up to being in charge of sound for the hit broadway shows: Rock of Ages and Burn The Floor.
His music library will never stop growing as his melomania will get worse and worse.
