The meaning of this song and the message that these artists want to get across, is very important to move forward with the ideas younger generations propose, without judgment of fear.
The combination of those two hiphop/jazz enthusiasts makes a light and groovy piece of art, ready to sip with your favorite cup of coffee in the lounge.
Peace, chill everywhere & keep vibing out …
The track moves along with a Frankie Knuckles-esque break beat, whilst cutting between synth pads and chopped vocal hooks which creates an atmosphere completely new to me.
This is the kind of song where you just lay back and let the music take you on a journey to launch your mind into a zoned out space of relaxation.
Ambient, hums and melodic polyrhythms, this track encourages movement and stillness all at once. With the body warm and full of space, wind your practice down and let the meditative sounds of the drum seep into your inner being.
Runaway bumps you to your soul. It’s got all the fixins including some crispy hi-hat work.
The song combines the power of Kelela’s voice with the softness and sensuality of Linn’s voice, in addition to the incredible production of BADSISTA.

Off of The Internet’s album Ego Death, “Girl” is a sultry, trippy love song that works out of a carefully crafted outer-space soundscape.
This tune offers up a dose of pure groove. You can’t help but bob your head as the beat rolls along. The energy pulsing with deep synth bass is pure joy and it keeps you subdued for the entirety of this wicked slow jam.
