About this Playlist
Tricky Noir is a selection of darker cinematic and often times more chill tracks than those on Tricky Blanc. You’ll find trip-hop, of course, indie, alternative, electronic, and hip-hop on this playlist and you’ll notice a lot of repeat collaborators like Marta, Martina Topley-Bird and Francesca Belmonte, for example. I’ve included a couple same-titled tracks and covers. “When We Die” appears twice, reworked by Breanna Barbara and later remixed by FaltyDL. I loved both versions. Lastly, I’ve also included Damballah by WOODJU. It’s a stellar track appearing on 2016’s The Obia EP (Compiled by Tricky).
