This was difficult, very difficult. There hadn't been many times since I'm curating this playlist on which I've had that big of a difficulty to choose which track to use next, I've passed through a lot of options, I really mean a lot of different music until settling with this piece, such a beauty.
I always wanted to play this étude, I did studied it for a short period of time, but never got the time to actually finish learning it. It's one of my favorite piano pieces, it exudes a beauty difficult to describe, some kind of big pathos immersed in that sea of sound, a growing pain that pulls out of the heart, a blossoming despair that has the capability to turn emotions into flesh, a big scream of emotion in the middle of nature, some kind of big release, even with some violence, because pure emotions get raw easily and this was a moment in time worthy of it.
And so it is, Scriabin in its earlier feeling, before his music became a thousand times more complex and he forgot the nineteenth century completely, but we'll always have his first steps, just like the main characters of Casablanca will always have Paris.
So I'll leave you to it, feeling this uniqueness and how it can easily touch the soul, you just gotta let it move you, shake you, shake that big sea of blockages that is your chest, let it move you and you won't regret it, I promise.
