Lindsay and I started working on a collaborative playlist for musicto, and from the beginning, it had a specific vibe—something like simmering lights, forest-side bonfire energy. The first track she added was Scream Fire by Smushie, setting that raw, flickering tone. I followed it with Cause the World is Small by Brother Page—a song that spoke to dreaming big in a world that already feels intimately connected. It reflected the inside stories we were sharing during our musical awakening.
For me, the turning point was Misconceived by Treehouse Letters. That was when I truly felt we were on the same page musically—it gave me a sense of purpose in what we were creating. We rambled about artists like Bill Callahan and Paper Anniversary, exchanging thoughts like old friends tracing each other’s thoughts through melodies.
But what truly captivated me was The Story I Heard by Blind Pilot. That day, my senses were elevated—it felt like the muse was whispering through the lyrics. Lindsay didn’t say much, but it was like she already knew. I couldn’t skip that song, and even now, every replay lingers with that same sensation.
I followed it with Georgia, which felt like we were both listening to our own pain—distant in space but aligned in soul. We dove deeper, rambling on about Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and eventually paused to breathe with our muse again. Lindsay added Tiger Mountain Peasant Song by Fleet Foxes while daydreaming. That song felt like her way of contemplating the entire playlist. We both agreed: it was time to just breathe.
We talked about travel—how she hadn’t ventured much beyond where she lived, and I was rejoicing in the image of her watching a sunset on a Malibu beach. In this shared space, we had profoundly graced each other—reciprocating not just music, but awareness, healing, and the deep knowing that we are not alone.

Phoenix
Hi, I’m Phoenix and I love to share my passion for music with others. I have been creating playlists since I was a kid, when I used to make mix tapes for my friends and family. Now, I use my skills and experience to craft playlists for various occasions, moods, and themes. Whether you need some upbeat tunes to get you through the day, some relaxing melodies to unwind at night, or some eclectic sounds to spice up your life, I have a playlist for you. I also enjoy discovering new music. I listen to all kinds of music, from pop to rock, from jazz to hip hop, from classical to electronic. I believe that music is a universal language that can connect people across cultures and backgrounds. That’s why I always try to include songs from different countries and regions in my playlists. My goal is to create playlists that are diverse, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone. I hope you enjoy my playlists as much as I enjoy making them. Thank you for your support!
