This week we are take that piano and voice from last week and we are gonna use it with Tony Bennett’s band and the incredible voice of Lady Gaga!
People can hate me for saying this but this is the real first time I heard Lady Gaga singing and she completely blew my mind. Of course, Mr. Bennett has an amazing career and when we think about him and jazz you immediately picture two really good old friends.
But Mr. Bennett, Jazz and Lady Gaga? that was an awesome idea. A great pop star and a living legend singing together Jazz. What kind of treasure can you expect to find on this mix? After seeing the beautiful Lady Gaga with many many hairstyles during the recording sessions and live performances, Mr. Bennet with his magical style and the wonderful band, all that album gives you 34:49 minutes of complete musical pleasure. (this precision is because on minute 35 you will realise that the album is done but you were still enjoying - That’s the very first clue of having a melomania. I’m telling you this because I know a friend who knows another friend that his cousin has it. Nothing to be with me).
Before thinking it’s just Jazz because you don’t know what Jazz is, I strongly suggest you this song and actually the whole album as an introduction to Jazz. For Jazz lovers that didn’t hear about this album, may I introduce you a nice modern piece of jewel of this astonishing genre featuring Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. Another Door’s Jazz week mode has been activated!

About the curator - Rodrigo Medrano
At a very early age, music had an incredible impact on Rodrigo’s life. He was never able to listen to lullaby songs; instead he was served Guns n’ Roses and Aerosmith for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At the age of 12, he became a melomaniac, collecting albums, EP’s, recording sessions, and researching every kind of genre. All this helped him to get his first job at a recording studio where he realized his life would forever revolve around sound and music.
Working on cruise ships as First Audio Technician allowed him to let loose his passion and expand his knowledge on psychoacoustics, eventually promoted up to being in charge of sound for the hit broadway shows: Rock of Ages and Burn The Floor.
His music library will never stop growing as his melomania will get worse and worse.
