About this Playlist
The first thing that caught my attention with these tracks is the lyrics. It was so good, I had to pull them out while listening to the song. Some are sad, some are happy, and some are even (my personal favorite) sad songs but they’re disguised with such a happy and groovy vibe, you completely forget it’s sad! — It’s honestly so cool how artists do that, it’s like, what do you want me to feel…? Anyway, all these tracks share one thing in common and it’s the way the lyrics make you think about life, something deeper, or maybe even something you’re experiencing at the moment.
Music always has this certain way to connect with whatever you’re feeling and that’s just a crazy thing, but it makes complete sense at the same time.
I'm Ariana, an island girl in a Buffalonian world. I was immersed with the beats of Latin music naturally at a young age, hailing from a Puerto Rican family. My father was a radio personality, and loved all things related to music, and that was inherited to me. My home was filled with new records of the latest and greatest, and my love of music grew as the years passed by. With interactions and experiences through friends, and what life has thrown my way I have become a fan of all types of music. I am always researching new artists to listen to, and reading up on industry news.
In my spare time I love to research genealogy and ancestry, spend time with my husband and my dog Laika, and three cats, James Bond, Katniss Everdeen, and Peggy Olson, and binge watch shows that catch my eye.
You don’t have to be a fixture on r/tennis or even a tennis fan to appreciate our awesome playlist. It’s filled with some great tunes from the likes of The Ting Tings and Le Tigre to The Heavy and Jane’s Addiction.
That said, it does help to be a tennis fan.
