This playlist is the musical diary of my awakening – the soundtrack to my late 2023 spiritual emergency that bled into 2024’s rebirth. Each song was carefully chosen not just for how it sounds, but for how it made me feel during this transformative period.
“Player yeah its true” – Dominic Dubois became my hypnotic mantra, its looping melody transporting me to daydreams of penthouse living and an idealized existence. This was my escape hatch when reality became too heavy. A hypnotic loop that flung me into daydreams of a penthouse existence—not just a place, but a state. A being lingered there, half-memory, half-manifestation. I was untethered, floating.
“Young Gun” by Tori Kelly featuring Jon Bellion – When I needed reassurance that dreaming wasn’t weakness, provided the perfect harmonic safe space. Their voices wrapped around me like a comfort blanket during uncertain times.
