About this Playlist
Who knows when I got the idea to collect a bunch of celebrity songs? My best guess is three years—or more—ago, when I first heard Rob Cantor’s “Shia LaBeouf Live.” It’s my most recommended track on this playlist, by the way. Of course, there are others I love, and a few, like “Bette Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes, that hit the nostalgia mark from the 1980s. I originally had nearly 200 tracks, but decided that was way too much for my liking, especially since some of the songs were of questionable taste. Some of them still are (questionable), but at least the majority are written and/or performed by bands and artists who might, at least, be familiar. And if you’re looking for anyone specific, the tracks are in alphabetical order, to the best of my lazy-ass attempt, and based on the first name of the celebrity.
