If you are at all familiar with the work of SZA and Chance The Rapper, this song will not come as a surprise to you. I can't remember the first time I heard it, but I like to imagine the daze I must have fallen in to. The velvety vocals and clever wordplay, the spacious beat, and the righteous calmness all add up to a hypnotic whole much greater than any of its parts.
This track is a little less upbeat than what typically makes this playlist, but the truth is that good music is good music and this song deserves to be recognized. SZA and Chance The Rapper are both extremely talented young artists bubbling with potential that I can't wait to watch bloom.
