When was the last time a song found you?
This one found me a couple of weeks ago and I just knew it would be perfect for this playlist.
It's incredible to think how everything that occurs has some perfect and beautiful reason, hidden deep inside its connection to every other event.
One doesn't realize how special life is until it's over, then you go out with a smile and realize its incredible beauty, and suddenly you notice how big you actually are, how big we all are, how many hearts we have touched. So, so many.
We tend to think of ourselves as miserably insignificant. We think in terms of actual size. We see the stars and think we are worth nothing because as bodies we're so little.
But we're not insignificant, and our actual value goes beyond the capacity of our minds. We are statistical miracles and capable of incredible things.
But we're also very scared to be worth absolutely nothing, we're terrified because we are blind. We don't really think we're worth loving, so much of our lives is wasted entertaining that thought, without realizing that love isn't actually something we can't earn or lose, it's all we breathe in and out, it's all our hearts pumps, masked in the clever disguise of flesh and matter.
Then we die and we actually see the incredible amount of love we were (are), and the incredible amount of love we actually inspired and awakened in so many people's lives. And we cry, a little (or a lot). "How could have I been so blind?" We vow ourselves not to ever forget what we saw. "I'll remember it more clearly next time. I promise."
And we do.
