About this Playlist
Remember when you used to make mixtapes just for the sake of making a mixtape? (or CD, for you post-analog carbon-based lifeforms).
Remember that fun, everything but the kitchen sink randomness? That ‘it’s kinda chaotic, but kinda not’ excitement? You knew you were headed somewhere with it, but you just let the muse use you as a conduit?
No? Just me? Okay then…
Well, in the early days of iTunes, I would often get bitten with the ‘Playlist Shuffle’ bug and see if I could just randomly chain together a viable party mix. Just play with the randomness and alter it slightly…just to see where it would go.
I exported a lot of the playlists. I also lost a lot of them.
In a move of what can only call remarkable foresight, I happened to find some playlists on an old thumb drive, and with the magic of old tech, was able to access them and recreate some of those old playlists.
