Of course, changing technologies will see opportunities to find emerging artists and fresh music increase tenfold in coming decades. The metaverse, maybe? For now, though, at least a third of the population rely on traditional ways of music discovery including listening to the radio, hearing music on TV or in movies, getting recommendations from friends and reading advice from music blogs and magazines.

What is the musicto Monday playlist?
Our musicto Monday playlist is the shortest of our weekly updating playlists. We specifically keep this playlist brief so that we can better profile emerging artists and discover new music so that you, the listener, can quickly and easily find musicians, bands and songs that interest you.
This playlist is an algorithm-free way to discover new artists and find new music. In fact, our curators hand-pick the best music from artists and bands who submit their music directly to our global creator community.
Who decides which songs are added to our music discovery playlist?
Each individual curator in our social network has the freedom to add songs to our musicto Monday playlist. Every artist submission that we receive through our “submit your track” form is added to one of a dozen music genres inside of our Circle social network.
From here, musicto curators are invited to listen to all the submitted tracks we receive, or they’re welcome to focus on the genre in which they specialize. When they hear a track they love, they directly add it themselves to this playlist. It’s that simple.
