This song includes two people previously introduced on my playlist. Which I try my hardest not to do for the sake of variety. But sometimes rules are meant to be broken. The reason both of these artists are back is because of their exceptional bodies of work. Every project released by them have equally resonated with me in some way or another.
These two Canadian titans linked up for River Tiber’s debut LP. The song is short and sweet with lyrics about leaving love behind to pursue their passions. They both head west, into the unknown. Hoping that one day they can return with their dreams fulfilled. The hazy production fits the mood perfectly. It feels nocturnal and distant. And before you can really start to enjoy it, its ends. They’re both gone In an instant, like a flash of light. Leaving you wanting more.
