This is Jerry Paper. His unique style of indie synth pop is something I can only describe as “Toy Box Music”. The aesthetic is very lo-fi and minimalistic with child like instrumentals that could brighten any mood. His happy go lucky style brings out your inner child as he sings with an awkwardness you can’t help but love.
The music video for “Halfway Zen” really ties it all together as you realize how much of a character Jerry Paper is. Once you see how well his image and music fits together you can’t help to root for him. He’s the full package and he’s in a lane all his own. Trust me, Jerry Paper is his own entity. As long as he continues to be himself I don’t see anyone stopping him.
