Every once in a while you run into a song not many people know about. You try to show them but they don’t understand. Or they tell you that it’s ok. The don’t feel the same emotional connection you do and that’s understandable. But I won’t accept it. This song resonates with me and the chorus is infectious.
El dorado is about a choker getting in trouble for joyriding his girlfriends fathers car and all the guilt and shame that comes with that. Having his girlfriend not take his side and throwing him under the bus he sings out to her“Why’d you give up on me?”. The song ends up being just as catchy as it is relatable as most of us had run ins with the law before.
There is not much information on choker at the moment. He released his self produced EP “Peak” in early 2017. It’s just over 30 minutes long and definitely worth the listen if you enjoy this song as much as I do.
