Zack Villere first caught my attention with his video for his song cool. A wonky electronic jam about feeling uncool. Zack paints the relatable picture of not being comfortable in your own skin and the self acceptance of owning yourself. Not only is the song super catchy but the video is the most awkward thing I’ve seen all year.
Zack’s personally shines as he plays his most accurate character, the average joe. Everything comes off genuine from the lyrics to the presentation. His EP Little World is like a diary of the average and overlooked. A unique perspective that’s not often explored. He doesn’t try to pretend he’s some big shot. He knows he’s not, but that’s what makes him cool. That honesty alone will help him reach new heights. Don’t worry Zack, your about to be the most popular guy around pretty soon.
