I have the best job in the world!
Being so deeply involved in the musicto community I tend to hear all the tracks that are being published each week - the diversity is amazIng and yet - the consistency of quality is incredible. While most of the tracks are “songs” and not appropriate for the Essay writing list - every now and then you get this brilliant piece of music that you’d never have heard of if it hadn’t been for some curator somewhere on the planet taking their time to share it with the world!
I first heard this track on the original curator submissions by Öni who went on to curate the soon to be iconic “Music to Chill To” playlist. I remember listening to it thinking how well it would fit on this list: Piano driven but with such a solid underlying groove and combined with what can only be described as a “Jazz-Hop” beat - it’s brilliant. it’s like being transported back to a smoky 50’s club yet alongside the piano and double bass you’ve got a modern DJ with a double deck just spinning the groove.
If you’re looking for something a little different that spans generations and genres - definitely take this one out for a spin…

About the Curator: Andrew McCluskey
The first visual memory I have is that of the white upright piano in Singapore, Hell and the Dark Forces lived at the bottom, Heaven and the Angels at the top, they would play battles through my fingers and I was hooked.
I’ve been fascinated by music ever since.
As a psychology graduate I studied how sound affects human performance.
As a musician I compose instrumental music that stimulates your brain but doesn't mess with your language centers, leaving you free to be creative and brilliant without distraction.
As the founder of musicto I’m on a mission to inspire a global audience of music lovers and artists through the development of people powered playlists.
