Loving Is Easy is an earworm indie pop song from Rex Orange County. One of the track's strengths is the innocent and playful instrumental. Specifically, the fun piano melody and the simple drum pattern as it gives listeners an easy going vibe. Also, the dream-like violin sections in the background sound like they belong in a Disney movie.

Rex's adolescent singing matches the energy of the lighthearted beat as he flows over it with ease. Additionally, Rex's young and wholesome singing voice compliments his fluffy view on love in this song. In the track, Rex croons about his belief that loving is easy when you find the right person, which is how most young people think. The same view of love is also present in lots of Disney movies and other western media. So, some listeners could interpret this song as a satirical piece on the glorification of love without acknowledging the hard work that goes into it as well. But, it's also probable that Rex just wanted to make a pop song about love. Overall, this Rex Orange County track features a soft and fun instrumental with a catchy singing melody to brighten up an already sunny day.
