Let’s be honest we’ve all played and listened to love songs even when we don’t have anyone in mind. And I’m guilty of one of my friends pointing that out to me recently. She said “all you listen to are songs about love”. I feel like I subconsciously I knew, but I never wanted to admit it out loud. I pondered her words over a couple of days and even in the moment I tried to disprove her, but had to scroll through my music for awhile. At first I thought I was pathetic. Could I be any sadder? But then I realized that there's nothing wrong with loving love songs because maybe when I feel what love actually is I won't be so scared because I’ve felt it before.
I hope I made sense because I have a cold and so many things are on my mind.
“Ruin me, if you'll let me be one of the ones you say you won't forget”

About the Curator - Ashlee Villasenor
Ashlee Villasenor is a senior at Austin College who watches too much Netflix and listens to her music a bit too loud. Her passion for music stems from a childhood full of sleeping on chairs at concerts to singing at the top of her lungs with her dad in the car to every new album he bought her. She's a Tumblr obsessed vegetarian, an animal-lover, a "let's share our feelings through music" kind of girl, who you will never catch without her journal and her pen in hand.
