The lyrics are emotional, romantic, but at the same time honest. You can hear the longing behind Dev’s airy voice, which is accompanied by an upbeat guitar riff. Throughout the song you can hear and feel everything Dev is trying to portray because you can sense the hopelessness and distress. It’s the perfect representation of a relationship you are so unsure of that both of you keep going in circles. It represents those feelings you have in the beginning of a relationship when you can’t get enough of each other as well as keep your hands off each other. It expresses to others that what you have is something that others can't compete with.
“Baby, tell me what you need
Young as I want to know
I will never let you go”
Songs like this make me miss being in a relationship, mainly because I love experiencing new things. Just imagine a montage of fun times with someone you love with this song playing in the background. It expresses how things will never get old and the love will never go.
